Rockwood 2608BS - Air Mattress space?

We have a 2608BS on order. There are big sales on air mattresses right now (Black Friday / Pre-Christmas).
Does anyone know how large a mattress we can fit between the dinette and kitchen? Could we fit a Queen to fit our 2 adult children? Or is a double the max size? I can't see these specs anywhere on this.
Thanks so much. I look forward to being a contributor soon.

I wish I could tell you for sure but our trailer is getting some warranty work done at the moment. It is a big space I do believe it would fit though. The only problem I see is it would be right over a heater vent in the floor.

Thank you. That's a good point about the mattress blocking the heater vent. I guess we could close it and even place a small piece of wood over it.

Hopefully, someone knows the width of the space. All our boys are over 6' and we suspect our grandsons will be 6'6" so we're just planing for the future. If our son and daughter-in-law need to sleep on a double it would only be for a couple of nights anyway. My wife and I have certainly done that a lot in Europe and the Middle East and we've been OK (I'm 6' 4").

Thank you.

Sounds like you need a nice big tent to bring along with cots and such

Try the virtual tour on Rockwood website. The tour has a measuring icon that I think allows you to point and click to measure distance.

A queen fits. It's tight but fits

Agreed, a queen will fit, but a double/full would be more manageable.

Even if it fits, you can forget using the bathroom in the middle of the night! Buy them a tent!

Would suggest two twin size. Alot more comfortable and allows for flexibility on placement. I speak from experience

That's my stance. We bought the 2608BS, a couples camper, for a reason.

Different model, but I found that a queen air mattress fit nicely on the hide a bed sofa when opened. And, much more comfortable.

Thank you. I've used the 2D VR tour but I can't find the measuring tool. I'm pretty tech savvy but I feel like a Luddite here.

As long as we can get to the bathroom from our bedroom we're OK. Fortunately, there's a pocket door / double entry in the 2608BS

They have a tent and all the accouterments. We're in Canada so the only time they may stay with us is if it's brutally cold and rainy. Otherwise - tent. Except when we take the grandkids - they're so tall for their ages that we already have NBA plans for them - and then they can buy US a 1 million dollar coach :-)

When we're out of the area i.e. the USA, then it's just us. That's why we chose the theatre seating instead of the miserably uncomfortable *and absurdly short) hide a bed.
