Rockwood 2703 Front panel screws backing out

Screws keep backing out. I have had to replace some of the screws with larger screws because original screws stripped out. I replaced with wood screws. What should I try next?Click image for larger version

You might just want to buy a tube of Loctite and squirt a dab in each hole and then tighten the screws again.

I just had the same issue. On mine(2018-2902ws), i found that the material that the screws went into was a little high and many screws just missed or hit the edge and did not bite enough. I ended up raising them just a little and screwing at an upward angel to get enough bite. Been fine for past several months

I think that is some of my problem also. It appears the corner molding was allowed to sag in the middle during application, therefore the screws are not in the right place. It also appears there is air pressure built up below and behind the corner molding due to the trailer frame. Some of the gasket behind the front compartment door frame gets blown out due to pressure build up in the front compartment. Looking for a way to stop the pressure from getting under and behind the corner molding. I think the pressure getting behind the corner molding is the main reason the screws are backing out.

If the screw holes are stripped, you could try shooting some resin in there and redrilling them.
