Rockwood 8272S

Have ordered a Rockwood 8272S for delivery in early March. The brochure is a bit vague in that it list 20 lb propane tanks and no option for 30 lb tanks. Also it list 14 inch tires as standard, no option for 15 inch although the specification list 15 inch tires. Confusing huh. Anyone know for sure?

1 mtnman,

Welcome to the Forest River Forums.

That's a misprint in the brochure. The Signature Ultra Lite series come standard with two 30# propane bottles and 15" wheels.

Enjoy the forums.

to the Forest River Forums 1mtnman. Looks like Mike has answered your first question. Don't hesitate to ask us anything else. Congratulations on the new trailer due in March. Post some pictures when you get it. We like pictures.

Rockwood 8272S

Thanks gentlemen for verifying my suspicions regarding tire size and propane capacity. The sales person was no help in this case. Don't you hate it when people attempt to sell merchandise and haven't a clue what they are selling. Are those of you who own Rockwells satisifed with the product?
I am trading in my Traillite by Rvision which has been completely trouble free for a bit larger unit. hope the new unit will serve me well also.

i have an 2008 8296SS Rockwood and so far only had slide out bolts break which i fixed with hardened bolts and a squeaky floor in kitchen which i am going to have them fix in spring as i have put the beast to rest this winter but other than that we have really enjoyed our camper.

also forgot to mention tire were out around and had carlisle replace all four with new one
