Rockwood 8310ss

On vacation at the jersey shore. Stopped by a local dealership and walked thru 8310ss. Dw likes it a lot . I never saw this floor plan. Any problems or concerns. Getting ready to make the plunge soon. I like lacrosse 328

I think you won't be able to access pantry and refrigerator when the slide is closed. If when travelling you want to use kitchen for lunch, you will have to open slide, other wise nice set up. Similar issue with the lacrosse 328, clearance between slide and kitchen counter when closed.

My dear wife and I love our 8310SS. Purchased last fall from RVDirect in Buffalo. Took 2 months to special order, but we got the options we wanted, and only those options. Saved about 3-5K. Like the floor plan. Fairly roomy. Love the front closet, but added my own LED lighting. Also had to rework the hanger system. Lots of storage throughout. Got two ACs (you'll need them). Upgraded to thermopane windows for cold weather camping. Also upgraded to larger refrigerator. Nice. Watch your head when you're at the sink. Pantry is way cool. I installed a switch that turns the light on when you open the door. Front sliding exterior storage is REALLY nice. Avoid electric stabilizers; they won't level the RV. Lazy Boy recliners are SO comfortable, but a little too big for the space. I hate the two drain grey water system, but alas, it is what it is. Might try to modify. Dinette table sucks; I fastened mine down. Replaced the filter system; cartridges were WAY too expensive. Feel free to ask any specific questions you may have.
