Rockwood 8311WS

I just bought a Rockwood 8311WS and did not notice till I got home that the glass cover over the oven is not folding back like it should. But before I take it back for repair I wanted to see if I was doing something wrong (which I hope not I'll fill like a idiot). Or is it was installed wrong. Here are some pictures. I hope the pictures aren't to big doing this from phone.

Laying flat

First fold over the top like directions say

Second fold over.

Figured out the problem. The hinges are bent all out of wack.

Rockwood 8311WS

Wow, nice unit! We have the 8311ss (less wardrobe slide). Our range cover has screwed up also and I was able to fix the hinges. I think it happens when people are viewing the trailers at the dealership and don't know how the cover folds.

Keep an eye on the top of the Fiberglas cap. I've noticed the darker ones either peel or fade. May need to keep a coat of wax or other sun protectant on it. Love the color tho.

Oh yah and the outdoor kitchen sink empties into the black tank! FYI

I know this from dry camping and wondering why my black tank was filling so fast. I was suspicious so when both tanks were empty I left the black valve open and ran the outside sink. Water came out of the black not grey while I was running the water.

Ok this makes sense as to why mine is filling faster than normal use. Thanks

Had the same problem with my outside sink. I was with a large group and my trailer was home base so I just thought the non campers weren't used to how to conserve. Turns out it was because I was doing the dishes outside.
