We love it,
We have been through 30 mph wind and loved that we had the Reese set up, but I hear the equalizer is good too!!!

HOWIE BEDELL,
Welcome to the forums and congrats on your new purchase.
We use the Equal-i-zer brand WD/anti-sway also. It's performed well. I have no complaints. Hitching and unhitching is very easy.

I've had great luck with Equal-i-zer Hitch as well. Easy to use, very good at controlling sway. (noisy when new, but settles down nicely)

Welcome to the FRF Howie and congratulations on the new rig. We were lucky when we ordered ours. The dealer originally quoted 10 weeks when we ordered it. We got a call that afternoon after placing the order in the morning. The factory had one exactly like we ordered coming off the line unclaimed by any dealer and did we want it. Of course we said yes and had it in two weeks
instead of the original 10.

Congrats! Love that 8317SS, just too heavy for my 2005 Tundra.
As for Equal-i-zer vs. Dual Cam, both are great. I towed for 3 years with a dual cam and just towed my first 600 miles with an Eaul-i-zer. No difference in performance that I noticed. Equal-i-zer is easier to install. Both are easy to hook up. Buy either one and be happy.

Welcome and congrats on your new TT. We too love that model and setup. just right for my 3 kids and a friend. The dealer told us 8 to 10 weeks also, a dealer standard it sounds like, but ours was pre-ordered by the dealer. They just called in to add the extras. Took about 4 weeks. I have the equalizer hitch. NDJollyMon is correct on the noise, it is a squeeky one. I need to apply some more grease. We are making our first trip finally. Sons football season is over and our weekends are free. We are going this coming weekend to the new Yogi Bear in Pelahatchie MS. Looking forward to a great relaxing time. Just hope we can pick up the LSU football game. See ya around on the forum.
