My cousin has a forest river salem travel trailer and can control their rv and items through a smartphone app. Does Rockwood have that?

My Signature Ultra has it. The iPhone app is called “iRV Controller” and can be downloaded from the app store. Controls lights, slides, awnings, water heater & pump and shows all tank/battery levels.

Hmmm, I have an Ultra Lite but not signature. How do you turn on units Bluetooth or does it go on when travel trailer is plugged in?

Bluetooth phone to RV. Has this controller panel in the RV.

Maybe not a bummer. Those bluetooth things have been having some teething problems (pun intended!)

Not really a fair comparison. That thread talks specifically about the MyRV system that’s tablet based to control the whole unit. The system the OP is asking about is just an app to allow remote use of the the trailers systems - if it craps out it just means having to use the panel or switches as usual. It’s a convenience/gimmick type thing that geeky types (myself included) get a kick out of - ask me how many times it will actually be used lol.

Yep. The app for those things does not work very well. Can't even run it from the back side of the camper. Only seems to work when I am really close. It has even been changed out twice. But the physical buttons work fine. So I just deleted the app and moved on.
