Rockwood Mini Lite 2516S / Flagstaff Micro Lite 25FKBS

Hello! We plan on getting one of these campers and I was wondering if anyone has one yet and what are your impressions of it. I'm leaning towards the Rockwood with the lighter color but love both. Holler back!

That looks like a very usable plan but note the additional weight. What do you propose to use as a tow vehicle?

25FKBS

Bought one in December (the two-tone colored one) but not getting it until March/April. Plan to tow it with 2018 Silverado Centennial version w/5.3 Litre @ 355 horse w/weight distribution hitch (aka WDH). Unloaded average weight of 25FKBS is a tiny bit over 6000 lbs. and will take about 1700 and change in added weight for around 7800 GVW. My Silverado has tow capacity of 9100 but there are a bunch of other specs. that need to be met like hitch/tongue weight, truck payload capacity, gross combined weight of loaded truck and camper which is 15K for my vehicle. Just me and wife so I doubt we'll ever load camper up to full 7800. Flagstaff indicates a tongue weight of 810 pounds but after putting out some feelers on this forum I've been told to use 15% of loaded camper weight which for planning purposes. If 15% is true this would put me @ 1100 tongue weight. Spec. for my truck says 700 lb max tongue weight for bumper (or weight bearing) hitch and 1250 lb for WDH type. I used the 15% calc. since I'll have two filled 30 lb. propane tanks and two deep cycle batteries which will add additional 200 lbs. right up front. The reason for determining the tongue weight number is so I can get the right size bars for my WDH (Blue Ox) which you can choose to go with their WDH. Sorry about the length of this but just thought you might like some info. Al

Just ordered one last week and have to wait a few months to get it. The “demo” we walked through was amazing and we were sold on the floor plan right away!

Rockwood 2516 is same exact TT as Flagstaff 25FKBS that we purchased in mid December just Rockwood branding and our demo walk through of the Flagstaff sold us also. I've heard it's a 3-4 mo. leadtime for delivery so not expecting Flagstaff until March/April. Don't need it til then since still have snow on ground here in NH. I watched what feels like a million reviews and have see as many photos and feel like I could help sell one at this point. Congratulations on your new TT!

Hello, We have a 2023 and love it. We upgraded from the sister model (25fks) and this is much better.
