Rockwood Recall

I received a recall notice for my 2016 Rockwood 2604ws concerning the slide motor bracket possibly contacting the tire. Their solution is to install a lift kit to increase the clearance.

I just returned from a 6000 mile trip with no issues. I need new tires and want to go up in load range from C to D or E. I was looking at getting Goodyear's, but their load range D only comes in 205 instead of 225.

If I install the 205, I think they will fit my rim width, I can get more clearance and skip the recall, and also go up to a D load range.

Thoughts on this? Any other Rockwood owners installing the lift kit?

Thanks!

There was a thread on this recently. The original thread was from like 3 years ago, or there about. And then the OP of that thread (who has since purchased a new trailer) added pics of the recall notice that they recently received. The original issue was that while driving, the tires rubbed on a bracket on the under side of the slide. You may be able to find that thread with the search, and it might help answer any questions you have?
