Rockwood Signature 8290BS
Since Rockwood won’t put the 30”x60” rectangular shower in the 8299BS (I’ve asked the factory sales rep), we are looking at the 8290BS. I discovered a dealer a couple hours away that has an early-2019 model which is essentially the same as a late-2018, so we went and took a look today.
My DW liked it despite the lack of a full height pantry. There seems to be plenty of storage in the kitchen. Without the island it has a ton of floor space and it feels quite bright inside.
If anyone has this model please let me know the pros and cons you’ve found.
Also, I’d like to know if those big opposing slides come with slide locks. I didn’t see the tell-tale white stickers on the walls above the slide so I would assume they don’t need locks. I can see it being a pain to install them especially since the slide rooms are now taller than on our 2011. The 8299BS probably uses the same slide outs so feel free to comment if you have the 8299BS.
