Rockwood Signature Ultralight 8290BS 5th wheel
I just came across this beauty through Camping World's Hershey RV show link.
I can't find it anywhere else, even on Forest River's website.
Forest River Rockwood Signature Ultra Lite 8290BS - Camping World - 1479416
This has everything we want, and it's only listed at $33,000 delivered, while I see all the other rockwood signature ultra lights being a lot more.
I don't buy things sight unseen so I won't be buying this one either. I just wonder do things really go up that much when purchasing after the rv show?

Alas, more looking at the pics and find no pantry.
I thought I had found the perfect light weight fifth wheel.

Not so fast...
KingFisher, while I agree I can't find this (apparently new in 2018) model anywhere else, it is intriguing. It may not be lacking the pantry space you need, notwithstanding that there appears to be no full length pantry. The counter-top to the right of the stove in the photos which you linked has a very significant amount of kitchen cabinetry storage both above and below.
If that is adequate, this does look like a really sweet floor plan, but (like you) I'd need to lay eyes on one.

I showed the floorplan designated pantry to wife, she says "that's not a pantry, need more room".
If I could actually see one and liked it in person myself I might be able to talk her into it. Has all we need. Outside kitchen, w/d hookups. Theatre seats, room for large dog.

I don't think I mentioned that we're planning on buying something to live in full time.

Here it is at RV Wholesaler. It shows upper cabinet by stove as pantry.

If you want storage and an outside kitchen with a sink, look for an 8291ws. Love mine.

Can't get to Fridge with slides in. Not a big problem if the outside fridge is stocked well. I like the kitchen as it is. Pantry would be good but lots of cabinets work just as good.

I'm not going to argue with your wife. While she's right, that's not a pantry, maybe she just needs to see it, too. Good luck!

We have a 2017 Signature Ultra Lite 8299BS that we like very much. But I notice that the floor plan you are looking at is a rear kitchen (ours is center kitchen). Our last 5th wheel was a rear kitchen and we will NEVER do that again. It simply shakes everything up too much. We had refrigerator shelves fall out. We had jars that were bubble wrapped (in an attempt to minimize damage) that broke during travel. If you think about it you will realize that the overhang behind the rear wheels actually amplifies the bouncing - sort of a whiplash - with the rear kitchen being shaken like cocktail as you go down our increasingly rough road infrastructure.
One other point I should mention. Our bedroom has no egress window. It looks like your floor plan may have one at the head of the bed. (Ours has two small windows at the side of the bed and the same tall, narrow windows on the other wall.) I would make sure the one in this layout is actually adequate for escape.

To each their own but I'd never consider living in any 'lite' or 'ultra lite' unit of any kind by any builder. We travel and pull about 10K - 15K miles annually. We are in it 6 - 7 months so made sure we bought one designed for full timers.

Wife wants washer/dryer. The laundry room at our lease isn't very good, it's in a screen room, and we're 16 miles from another one at least. Only 2 washers and 2 dryers.

We have a 2012 Flagstaff 8528 RKWS and have towed it over 40k with no problems. I did put shocks on it and we can leave things on the rear counter and they are still there at the end of a days towing.

You may be better off with what you have over a combo and don't even consider invented. One reason we upgraded as the vented combo did not do well and took over 2 hours for a small load. The separate units in the new 5er is like night and day.

I have wondered whether the suspension components would make a big difference in that. Unfortunately our new rig doesn't seem to be any more gentle on contents than our old one, though the new one isn't a rear kitchen so the stuff in the middle where the kitchen is don't get as abused.

This is the Indigo color scheme. This is what we ordered on our 8328bs we are waiting for.

When we're traveling wife makes sandwiches in the morning and puts them in a small soft sided cooler with drinks which we either keep up front or in the back of the truck.
Never go into the trailer until we get to the campsite.
