Rockwood Ultra V

are the Ultra V RV's still being made or are they discontinued. I like the thought of the front not catching as much wind as its being towed. Any comments on this.

Rockwood/Flagstaff dropped their V-nose trailers a few years ago.
And overall they never showed any measurable improvement in fuel mileage.
Maybe a half of a percent.

It's been at least 2 years since Rockwood/Flagstaff stopped production. There's probably some used ones for sale.

I have a Vibe by V-Cross that has the V nose. On ours the kitchen is in the nose. We love it! Frees up so much space on the inside.

We have a V Nose on our Flagstaff. I don't think it improves the aerodynamics, but we love the floorplan. We got the bathroom in the nose and it is great with double vanities and enough space for two to get ready. I also like the floorplans with the kitchen in the nose. They stopped making them in 2018. If you want used, 2017 and 2018 are the best years due to improvements made in ceiling height and most importantly to the flooring. They started using plywood instead of the laminated floors in 2017 which solves an issue some had with floor flex.
