Roof Delaminating - 2015 8289WS

Any one having problems with roof delaminating on Rockwood 5th wheels.
Bought new a 8289ws 5th wheel in April of 2015. Have put approx 10K miles on rig since i purchased. Took it in to have it inspected for reseal, after 2.5 years thought it might be time. Was told by the dealer that the roof was delaminating and a non-guarented fix would be approx $1250. Would only guarantee with complete new roof $7,000 to 8,000. When I purchased was told roofs last 10 to 15 years.

That is not what he said, that is the glue under the material that let go. Delamization would be if the plywood underneath went. I had to replace my roof but it was because of a tear and water got to the plywood. You see that quite a bit on the FRF. I don't think anybody that I remember out of warranty that they picked that they picked that repair up. Could be wrong but doesn't look like delamization to me, just glue.

I would take it to a different dealer and get an honest opinion instead of someone wanting to vacuum your wallet dry. That looks like a simple reapplication of glue/sealant to me. Labor intensive type repair, not much in the way of materials/cost.

Your dealer is crazy, my total roof replacement cost 5200 at the plant. He's just trying to rip you off, I would run.

Check with the factory, they might fix it. I have a 2015 2703ws Flagstaff and noticed some delamination on a sidewall in August(5 months out of the 2 year warranty). Contacted the warranty dept. at Flagstaff and after a few emails back and forth they picked it up here in Washington State last week and towed it back to Indiana. Called me this morning to say it was done(whole new side wall replaced) and would have it back to me soon. VERY HAPPY WITH FLAGSTAFF.
Worth a try.

The wrinkles in the roof really don't affect the integrity of the roof. As long as all the seams are sealed and there are no holes, you are still water tight and no risk of water intrusion. Wrinkles will appear and disappear with weather changes. Your wrinkles seem to be on the extreme side of things though. If it were mine, I would think about either taking the side trim off and regluing the roof or injecting a spray glue through a small hole and covering with eternabond tape.
