I am trying to figure out if the Wildwood dealer neglected to mention this maintenance item or if the Rockwood dealer is interested in selling maintenance products. Does anybody treat their roof yearly?

Was he saying that you need to bring it to him to "treat the roof" at a cost of $50, or just telling you to treat the roof and that would probably cost about $50 a year(caulk, soap, roof cleaner, brush, etc...)
YES you need to perform regular roof inspections/maintenance or you will/can void the warranty.
NO it does not have to be done by the dealer.
