Shower Drains Where?

I recently purchased a Rockwood 188 ETC but my question is a probably a general one. Does anyone know where the water from the shower suppose to drain into, (the gray water tank or my blackwater tank)?
Thanks

Shower water is gray. It should be the gray tank unless this is a trick question.

All sinks and the shower go to the gray water tank. The toilet goes to the black tank.

there have been some recent posts that some newer trailers have the shower draining into the black tank, so that the gray doesn't fill as fast.

email or call FR's Rockwood division.
or crawl under it and see which tank it goes to.

Some units have the shower draining into the black water tank. I doubt it has to do with saving space in the grey water tank, probably was just easier to do that way.

Thanks.. Guess some newer units drain their showers into the black water tank. I crawled under and it does seem to go into the black. The reason i was stumped is because i am a yacht captain and in boats all sinks and showers drain into gray and all heads drain into black. Guess not the same with campers. I am new to this camper deal so i noticed when i was cleaning out my tank whenever i poured clean water through the shower drain it came out the black water outlet. This seems to not make much sense I would prefer the black water tank to take longer to fill. Oh well guess i should have asked that before I purchased the camper. Thanks again..Capt. Al

you're right about the shower draining into the gray tank. that's how it's been in RVs too.
this is a recent development in RVs. i think for smaller trailers with tank size limitations, there have been complaints at how limited the gray tank capacity is without any similar complaints about the black tank capacity.
so, i think that it's a way for smaller trailers to go longer without their gray tank filling up and since the shower is next to the toilet, location makes it easy.

maybe a FR rep can answer this.
