Signature 8314BSS & 8325SS Hitch Weights

Hi folks. I’m new to the forum and planning to upgrade my Keystone Hideout to a Signature Ultra Lite. I would like some real world hitch weights from owners. My Keystone has an estimated dry hitch weight of 795 and a camping weight of 900. We are looking at the Signature 8314BSS (dry weight = 815) or 8325SS (dry weight = 831). If the increase is about the same as what I have seen on my existing trailer, I will be fine. What range of weights have you folks experienced? Thank you for your input.

795 to 900 sounds too low to me. Add the battery and 60 lbs. propane to 795 and you are about 900 already. How did you measure the tongue weight? My dry TW was 870 and I'm at 1050 fully loaded.

Tongue scale

The dry weight came from the literature, just like I am using for the Signature weights. I have a tongue scale to weight the trailer before every trip. That's how I came up with 900. If I am not careful loading, I can get it up to 950, which I have done on occasion. It still works fine, but I would rather keep it down. Thanks.
