Size of Tires?

The Rockwood fifth wheel features show the tires are 15", but checking with one dealer's website shows the tires are 14" on the models in his lot.

Which is correct?

I can't speak for any other trailers, but our '07 Rockwood 5th wheel has 15" wheels.

Cool Tires

Most tires on RVs are made in China, including Good Year. Lord willing that will change in time. The Rockwood Signature 5th wheels have had 15" rims for over 6 years. Awhile back they had 205's, but they were still on a 15" rims.. thus says my dealer.

The Big Guy must have heard you. Actually, a lot of the Goodyear marathons are back being manufactured in the good ole US of A.

I believe they had a lot of problems with the Chinese manufactured ones.

Hopefully the problem with the marathons is with the cook and not the recipe.

So tell me, who DOESN'T have problems with Chinese manufactured goods? I have found quite a few websites that deal with "Made with Pride in America" and that's where I try to do most of my shopping. Believe it or not, it doesn't cost that much more to keep jobs in the USA.

My 08 V lite has 14" Carlisle 205 75 R 14's. I wish it had 15 inch tires, but they won't fit between the axles. Randy

Are you sure about that? Last I read GY sent them back to China.
But IMHO I would not spend any money on Good Year product. Worked in the tire industry years back and GY 's only lasted 20K miles and that if you were really lucky. That has not changed over the years from all I have read.

Donn, I have seen several last year and some this year that come out of their Gadsden AL plant, if I remember correctly when we looked at the code on them.
