Sky ranger 4 wifi booster

I have a 2020 Rockwood 2608BS with ranger 4 wifi box on the roof. Does anyone know if there is a wifi booster located anywhere on the inside. I know the switch by the door powers up the box on the roof, but would like a wifi booster inside for stronger wifi from the park.

I would think the one on the roof would act just like one inside. Either way your trying to move a signal through roof/walls. Why do you want another when you have the one provided?

For curiosity I looked up info on the Sky Ranger 4 unit as I do not have one.
The roof unit only gathers signals then puts the signal into an Ethernet cable that is fed into a 4 port router that you plug your computer into via another ethernet cable.

see this tutorial

Then there are several ways to turn on INSIDE wireless device for inside the trailer but would require another box/antenna to be plugged into the router box.
This device would work...

The Sky4 Ranger as installed by Forest River does not have a component inside the trailer. All of the functionality is included in the unit on the roof.

You can watch this video for an overview of how to use it:

The Sky4 unit creates a wi-fi network at your RV and uses the campground wi-fi as an input rather than the typical cable or dsl line that a normal home wireless router would use.

Looking at the wifiranger website it appears there are indoor AND outdoor models do not look like the WiFi Ranger 4 unit as the OP said in his post. " with ranger 4 wifi box on the roof I think the Sky 4 unit is OLD as it is no longer listed for sale any longer.

I am not sure why gathering a weak outdoor signal, amplifying it then sending another wifi signal thru the roof is a better idea then distributing a clean wifi signal thru a wire into the cabin is not a better idea?

Perhaps FR chose to go 1/2 way and not install the indoor antenna as is shown in the descriptions on the wifiranger website... Fortunately that additional functionality CAN be added for more ROBUST signals from 3rd party or WiFI Ranger.

Both screen shots from Wifiranger website shown below show how they (apparently) recommend the outdoor router be used...

I think adding the indoor wireless would solve the OP problem. My first recomendation ( TPLink) is listed at $25

I'd like to try to clear up a couple of points. The Sky4 is a current model WiFiRanger router but it is only sold to RV manufacturers and dealers for installation on new RVs. The ones on the website are the retail line of routers. Some OEMs are also starting to use the retail models on new RVs, so the situation does get a bit confusing.

All WiFiRanger rooftop routers can be used by themselves or with paired indoor devices. Manufacturers choose which the configurations they will offer on their product line.
