Slide topper water weight

The topper on our large slide out 2608WS sags in and holds rain water. Does anyone know if this could cause the topper to pull out of track? Any suggestions on a fix? I know we can slide in to dump it, but this is not very convenient (everything has to be moved).

If you know rains is coming you put a beach ball in there to drain water off

I’ve had very long slides (14’) or so and each has held water. The slide toppers have never been worse for wear
