Sofa Bed Rockwood fifth wheel

Just used sofa bed last night in our new Rockwood signature. It is in back of unit. I think I am using it correctly. It is very uncomfortable, cushions on front part higher than the rear plus the cracks between cushions. Just checking if this is common happening. This is fifth wheel 8288sb model.

there are far more uncomfortable stories than comfortable one when addressing the sofa beds in these rigs.

You may try a 2" memory foam topper. We had the same issue with our TT and got one. Kids said it drastically improved the comfort of the sofa bed.

AugustPilot...

Mine was the same way. I had to take apart the back of the couch re-drill holes into the metal brackets on the side to raise it 2 inch's. Put spacers under the back brackets with new bolts. Now everything is flat. The cushions go to the bottom of the window exactly. I think whoever was assembling these couches didn't know what they were doing.

We also use a 2 inch memory foam topper. My daughter says it is quite comfortable. We also put a small topper ( I think it is for a kids bed) in the space to bring it level
With the bottom of the bed. Works well.

Thanks for the update. I just picked up my 2022 8288SB on the 7th of February and was wondering if the bed was going to be any good. I now know how to rectify the problem if necessary

Sofa bed? Are you sure it isn't that piece-of-crap jack-knife sofa like the one that came with my RV?

I just went through my 8288sb 5er this past weekend and looked at the sofa bed and I have adjustments on my legs that you fold out for the front cushion. Check your legs and see if you can adjust them to help solve your issue
