Tilted slide outs wile opening. Design Flaw ?

My two slide outs tilt down wile opening.
Once they are open they become perfectly leveled.
I have no problems with the seals in the open or close position, everything seems to be working good and no leaks.
Is this normal?
My previous camper had it too, but this new one broke what they call “ slide out corner blocks”. I honestly think it is a corner block design flaw.
What say you ?
Anybody with a similar situation ?

Mine do this and it's just not right, is it? It's under warranty so, if it falls off I'm covered.

Yes, when to top of the slide hits the wall of the trailer the bottom will continue out until it is level.

The problem is not the slide tilting, it is the two per slide plastic corner blocks. When the slide tilts they brake. I would say every +/- 30 cycles !

It was one of the first things I noticed before ever buying. The dinette slide on the Sunseeker 2500TS would tip down when extending and coming level seating at the outward position. It only happened on one of the 3 slides. The dealer assured us that it was normal and it never caused us a problem.

If the "Slide Side" is a little high when I pull into the site, I just run the slide out and check level again. More times than not it causes that side to drop enough to level the trialer side/side. I then adjust tongue jack for fore/aft level and run down stabilizers till they are firm on the ground.

My slide extends and retracts with a tilt to the outside. Once against seals it squares right up, in or out.

Tilted Slide Outs

Perhaps it is designed so that if the top of the slide out has water, it will drain outside instead of inside. Mine does the same thing although I would not say that it finishes exactly level.

this is what i'm talking about

These are the parts I'm talking about.
They are called corner blocks.
They break when the slide tips down....

Exactly. It's the design of the slide and will always do that. Ours is 9 yrs old with 100s of cycles and no issues ( touch wood).
