Toilet Depth

This question is for the men, and don't laugh. Have you guys found that there is not enough space between the toilet seat of RV toilets and the bottom of the toilet when you sit down? Do you have to hold yourself 'up'? Just askin'. Is this a problem that RV toilet companies have not addressed because no one complains about it? Or is it just me? no bragging intended.

You know how the camper gurus tell you to put a little water in the bowl before you go? I've found that the answer to this problem is to be very careful not to put too much in. That said, there is a sweet spot that I haven't yet found. Too much water and you have this issue, too little and... Well you know...

Most standard RV toilets are small. I guess it's a combination of cheap
and fitting in a small space and design (less water needed to flush).
I donno the answer except if you have room you could upgrade to a larger
one.

My main issue with the toilets is the amount lack of space between the front and back of the seats. I refer to it as a womans seat. Definitely not designed for a mans use.

A woman's seat. I like that, and it describes it perfectly!

Glad to see it is more than just me with this issue. As with many items on an RV; I wonder when the industry will wake up and start using better quality items. It is not like the 50's and 60's any more. We are willing to pay for the better quality these days. If we pay the difference, the profit stays the same for the builder. In fact, I dare say the profit will increase dramatically due to far fewer warranty issues.

I'm kinda jealous of NDJollyMon. he has a residential style toilet in his unit! I have thought of getting one to but its just finding one that the waste down pipe connection is far enough back and it doesnt stick out 10 feet..
