Toilet Paper Holder

We have a Rockwood 2613 trailer. We are trying to figure out where and whether the self-stick works in a travel trailer. Help please. Thank you. We are new at this.

I’m not sure self-stick toilet paper would be a good idea anywhere! (Sorry, I couldn’t help it.)
But seriously, self-stick adhesive seems to hold well on hard smooth surfaces.

Moved thread from the Tips and Tricks sub-forum to the Rockwood sub-forum, for suggestions from other 2613 owners.

We just use a toilet paper holder stand similar to this.

Regular self-stick works, but not so much in bathrooms. The high humidity in the bathroom loosens the tape.

We use self stick tape that's made for OUTDOOR applications. Smooth surfaces work best.
Clean the surface with rubbing alcohol, let it dry, then mount the toilet paper holder. It usually takes 24 hours for the maximum holding power. Just make certain you know where you want it to remain because they can be difficult to remove.

The alternative is Command Strips for outdoor applications. That's worked well for us too.

I found over the cabinet door hooks on Amazon. Modified slightly and drilled holes in the flat hook to mount a TP holder to. Hangs from cabinet door, and stays put. We use the same hooks--was a four pack-- on a different higher cabinet door to hang our bath towels. Over 4000 miles and they haven't fallen off in travel.

I mounted a TP holder inside the sink cabinet door using HD adhesive tape and short wood screws.

I use this one. It works fine on my 2023 19FD. The only thing I had to do was crimp the over-the-cabinet part with a pliers about 1/8" so it fits nice and snug.:

I bought one of those toilet brushes that stands up in its own container and just slide the roll onto the handle. On travel days, just put it under the sink so it won't fall over. Two birds, one stone.

Thank you everyone! All great ideas. We finally decided to use command product to stick it on the back of the cabinet door I’m crossing my fingers that it will work. 😊🌻

We have one like this stuck to the wall with automotive double sided tape. Been there for 6 years without any issues.

I got some little corner metal baskets. They come with adhesive and screw mounts. We put them in the outer corner so that one side is against the outer wall. I used the adhesive on the inside wall and small screws on the outer wall. Works perfectly, and can hold a phone or wipes as well as tp. There were 2 in the set. Fairly inexpensive. I also put up a set in a metal shed I use as an outhouse. Only used the adhesive and they have held for over a year.

We also have ours inside the lower sink cabinet door. I had to remove it and turn it so the slide-on rod is vertical so the TP roll doesn't fall off when traveling.
