Toilet replacement

I have a 2013 2109s and would like to replace the original toilet with a new high profile residential style toilet. I have done all the measurements and can't convince myself that it will fit. I don't want to order it and go through the hassle of returning it. I'm 2 hours away from a place I can go see one. I'm thinking of the Dometic 300 that I seen on the web at CW.

Has anyone done this? Thanks for any response.

If and when I replace our RV toilet I'm going with the Dometic 320.
Link> https://www.dometic.com/en-us/us/pro...specifications

It is house hold size, plus 19 3/4 " high... helps with the tired knees

Maybe you should give this one some thought. (?)

You want to instal a residental toilet in and RV. Dont even consider it. Wont work worth beans. Firstmis the gallon and a half flush. Where is all that water going to sit? Now if you want a new toilet there are a lot of models both standard RV height and tall. Get a tall model of the one you currently have and go. Easy swap that way.

I believe the OP is already considering a R/V style toilet with their choice of the Dometic 300.

I would also suggest as Islander said, to look at the Dometic 320.
Much better choice than the 300 or even the 310.

I have the Dometic 310 with the upgraded seat and am very happy with it.

We had to replace our Dometic 310 and the new seat is the soft close type. We have 1.5 bath unit. Bought a new soft close seat for the other toilet last week. The 310 is the tall height also.

My RV came with the Dometic 300 which was entirely plastic and felt flimsy. I replaced it with the Dometic 310 with a hand-held sprayer and it’s much nicer. We are very happy with the 310.

Just remember when deciding between 300/310/320 models....

I believe they are all available in at least two heights....short versus a taller version, but more importantly....

Make sure there’s enough room behind the toilet you have today versus any model designated as “elongated” or “oval”. It’s important that they mount with the “throat” of the toilet in the exact same position over the floor opening, and make sure the mounting screws are interchangeable.

Just sayin

Here is the manual for the 310/320. See page 3 and 5 for install dimensions. Example from back wall to center sewer pipe: 310= 10"/320= 11". Quit guessing.
