Traded the Roo 19 for a Windjammer

We traded our 2010 Rockwood Roo 19 in for a 3 month old 2012 Windjammer 3001W and could not be happier.Used Quality RV Sales - Quality RV BTW its sold already...

We think the Rockwood line up of coaches is great quality. I feel Like a king staying in this camper!

The reason the jammer was traded in was the guy wanted a fifth wheel. (What are the advantages of a 5er over a bumber tow camper?)

Good read, thanks.
Seems some have had both a TT and a FW. Some like the FW because its better to back up.....
I like the floor plan of the windjammer! Youve had both..

If you don't mind me asking, what did they give you on your trade in?

Not sure if the forum has rules about talking how much $$,$$$ they got on a trade. I thought we did really good with what we payed for the windjammer and what they gave us on trade. It was a hell of alot easier too then messing around with those kicker kickers on CL...

Yeah, the thought has crossed my mind, as far as trading my unit up...just don't want to get the short end of the deal.

Take a look at your NADA RV value. The dealer said his NADA book was differnt than the on-line one that I looked at. You also have to figure that the trade in applies against the taxed amounted of the new unit. It never hurts to asks around what you can get for a trade!

go and get yourself a new TT. In my case the difference between the 10 and the 12 was worth it for us. Lots of features that blow your mind.....electric awning is one that comes to mind.

We have the Flagstaff sister to your 3001, V-Lite 30WRLS and have had it for 3 years now and over 12,000 miles. We did 3974 miles this summer going to the FROG rally in Goshen and still cannot find anything we would change to. We have done a few things to it like Euro Recliners, power tongue jack EMS power monitor and remote awning control. At the rally we had the new style screen door inserts added. Next is slide toppers and maybe changing the recliners again to Lazyboy's. We use a Blue Ox hitch and it tows like it is on rails with very little noise.

Good luck and happy camping.

What kind of La z boys recliners fit in the Jammer.

Lanningjw, welcome to the Jammer family. I too have a 3001W. We got the Lazy Boy recliners as an option. Price I got from our dealer was better than I found at Lazy Boy or another store that sold them. Not sure of the model but they are the smallest style Lazy Boy makes in the leather. They are a very nice addition.
