Turkeys
How about stretching some of the fine netting like they put over blueberry plants, gardens and the like. It is also streched over ponds to keep out the dreaded Canada Goose. I stretch it around our vegetable garden to keep the critters out. Stretched over the whole camper, your A/C unit would hold it up off the sealant and you might be able to secure with weighted milk bottles.

Go get some sticky pad rat traps. When they get stuck on a bird they’ll never come off and the birds will never come back. And yes turkeys can fly people more people are killed now by turkeys hitting the windchill of a car then deer.

I store it on a Coast Guard base outside of town where there is a huge flock of turkeys. I have seen turkeys do some goofy stuff before but this takes the cake. I know it's turkeys because they left footprints.
Anybody else experience something like this?

My turkeys like shiny things, but mostly the sealant could have soy in it. It attracts animals. We had rabbits eat our wiring because of soy oil used in the insulation.
Just a thought.

The turkeys raised on farms may not be able to fly, but wild turkeys certainly can.

I have a Mossberg 930 SPX with 00 buck that says they can fly, but not for long.
OK back on topic before I get carried away.

Snakes have worked for me. Mostly at the house where woodpeckers keep knocking holes in my cedar siding. Been tempted to break out the 12ga but it may freak the neighbors and damage my house !

If you live in an area where it doesn't freeze, these might work for you:
https://www.orbitonline.com/wildlife...ed-sprinklers/
We unfortunately live in an area that freezes (-14 F a week or so back!), and our pests don't fly (though after hunting them for years, I swear that they can or "Scotty beams them up") - elk & deer.
They destroy our trees, bushes and flowers so a lot of the trees and bushes have been placed in protective custody (tree prisons - aka 6' high fencing) to keep the buggers from damaging them.
The sprinklers are used to keep them away from the flowerbeds during the "summer". You might need to get two, one for each end of the RV, since the I think they sense an arc of slightly less than 180 degrees.

That is one bad case of molt. Looks like the dog wants to make sure he gets his share first.

Black Vultures
Migrating black vultures inflicted a lot of damage to our black slide seals and the white rubber roof along the plywood seams. We added slide toppers to obstruct landing / roosting areas. Also, added a “Shade RV” canopy (saw it at RV Show) which we hope to protect most of the roof. We expect the destructive vultures to return to our SE TX location around Thanksgiving, and remain until February / March. We’ll see if our efforts are successful. We’ve also used reflective tape, shiny CD discs blowing in wind, plastic owls and snakes (no noticeable impact). We’ve also put 2 X 8 boards with bird spikes on the roof where the canopy does not fully cover

They do fly. Just not very far. That's how they get into their tree roosts at night. I've witnessed it first hand.

Guess that depends on what you think is not very far a mile or two when the need arises

Sitrep 3 and final. After making more repairs I covered all of the lap sealant with eternabond tape and took the coach back to storage. Picked it up today after 2 weeks and am pleased to say that appears to have done the trick. No damage anywhere.
Whew.
