Thumbs down Ultra V 2618 Ordering question - v2

Second set of questions for our order of a 2618...

Based on the answers from v1, we will likely move forward having Rockwood build the trailer without the dinette and couch. We just got a sale flier from Lazboy.

New questions:
The DW and I are discussing appliances. We have the option of going plain, which I am guessing means a black painted metal front on the refer, buying the raised panel refer fronts or going with the stainless steel appliance package. I found one post where someone put a bad scratch into a stainless refer front and got himself into more trouble trying to fix it. Turned out the refer had a stainless coating over black metal....

I am also thinking about having the factory install one or two additional Maxxair fans and vent covers.

I plan to have the factory install a rear ladder. I will add an after market bike carrier - looks like Amazon has good units for 1/2 the price.

Any recommendations?

Al

Go with the MaxxAir fans and covers. I neglected to order them for the front vent; now I'll have to do it myself.

Fridge front? It's a matter of taste. Some folks think the raised panels are "tacky." (I don't, we have them.) Some don't like SS for just the reason you stated. What's the DW like? That's what you'll end up with!

x2 on the xtra maxair fan an covers.

We did get the refer panels and like them.
Go for the 15K AC unit- we didn't, dammit.
Ordered ours with minimal carpet opt. None in Bedroom. Always a lot of sand to deal with in CGs.
We have the fabric on the chairs and couch and prefer it over the leatherette business. My friend has same camper only Rockwood, has the leatherette fabrics and his wife isn't real crazy about it.
We opted out of the RVQ in favor of an outdoor stove, we got a 3 burner, friends did the same and got a 2 burner one. We don't like to cook inside on the stove for obvious reasons. Both are similar in appearance and construction, but 2 burner is much easier to store. I'm sold on Weber Q for bbqing.
Wife loves the bathroom in the front end with the double vanity sinks, so you can guess who picked this TT!
Get the slide toppers factory installed at the build. Enjoy it!
