Wakonda State Park north of Hannibal, MO

Just made reservations (lake front) for Labor Day weekend. Has anyone ever stayed at this State Park?

In general I think the entire area is really nice. Don't know anything about that park though. I am interested to hear about it.

Well it's okay if you like back to front parking. I wasn't impressed with it at all and I'm sorry for being late in posting but this may help others. Cuivre River SP, Hawn SP along with Roaring River and Bennett Springs SP are our favorites.

I have to admit that it was just an "okay" place to go. Our goal is to hit every Missouri State Park that has camping available over the next year or so. We can cross this one off the list. Doubt we'll ever go back.
