Water leakage on 2016 Rockwood 2306

Hi I was wondering if anyone has ever had water coming out of the antifreeze hookup while hooked up to city water. I've been set up for a while and it just started a couple days ago.

It appears that the antifreeze valve is set to the winterize position, and the pump check valve has started to leak by. That would cause the symptom you describe.

There's a 3-way valve in the pump suction line that directs fluid from either the tank or the antifreeze tubing. If the valve is set to draw antifreeze in, AND the pump check valve is leaking, the water from the city water side would flow backwards out the antifreeze line.

If the valve was set to draw water from the fresh water tank, and the check valve was leaking, it would fill the fresh water tank to overflowing.

Bama Rambler has likely hit the nail on the head with the check valve diagnosis. This is a common RV problem.

Keep in mind if the check valve has failed or is stuck, no matter which way you turn the antifreeze bypass valve, water is going to continue to leak back through to either the antifreeze port or into the fresh water tank. Just turning the antifreeze valve won't solve your back-flow problem.

The check valve in the pump can fail for several reasons.
Too high of city water pressure can overcome the valve and allow back-flow leakage.
An inline city water pressure regulator is often the cure.

The check valve can get debris in it from running the on board pump, especially if run while hooked to city water. Dirt and debris from either the pump or the city water supply can lodge in the check valve. You can often clear the check valve by turning off the city water supply, open a faucet, (to relieve pressure) turn on your on-board pump, open and close a faucet a few times, (the water flow will hopefully clear debris) turn off pump, open faucet (to relieve pressure) reconnect city water supply.

And finally, the check valve can simply fail. Pump replacement or rebuilding is required.

This generic plumbing pic may help you. Covers probably 95% of RV's. As 5picker said, if you have the 3-way valve, you will leak to either the AF connection or the FW tank. If you have the 2 separate valves, you'll be better off as you can close both of them if you can't get the check valve to re-seat.
