We Finally Have Our Carport Up

After months of scheduling and weather related issues we finally have our Carport up. Very excited to keep the fiver out of the elements and maybe, just maybe, no more black streaks. Click image for larger version

While they'll be less... black streaks are part of owning an R/V.

Congrats on the carport!

I got it from Carolina Carports. I see you are on the west coast so I would think they are out. I really wanted to do a wood one but the money and upkeep isn't worth it.

I am also looking to do the same in the near future. I am getting the property ready to put one up in the next month or two. Hoping it gives my new trailer much more protection and help in the Texas summer heat also.

The company I used is Carolina Carports out of the obvious, North Carolina. I am in upstate NY which is about 800+ miles from them. They travel all over so If you need a company it's a starting point for you. Prices aren't all that bad either.

Thanks and yours looks great. I haven't starting getting prices yet as I am working on buying the property now which is across the street from my home. My trailer is sitting outside now, but hoping to cover it soon.

Thank you and good luck on the property purchase. The weather up here is nuts between snow, rain and heat. A matter of fact it snowed this morning (didn't stick) and is only 40 degrees but feels like 35. Last week it was near 80 degrees. Beginning of March we got 3 and 1/2 feet of snow over an 18 hour period. I was afraid that the roof on the fiver would give.

Looks great. Should keep your fiver well protected when not being used.

We went with a wood structure and tin roof. Yours looks very nice and you will probably love like we do after our first winter under cover.

Looks really nice! Wish we had the room to have ours at our home. Sure would make it easier to get ready for a trip if it were close by.

We went with 12 foot legs too. I did it for the future. I should be able to get a 5th wheel in it. It reassures me to see yours with a 5er in it.
