West Coast Maxxis

Where does everybody who bought Maxxis tires get them? I've googled the whole west coast and no body has them. Apparently discount tires is a dealer and so are a few others but inventories are zilch even the warehouses. How do you order them and then do you pay shipping/mounting /stems/balancing ect?? These are hard to find.

I ordered online from DiscountTireDirect.com. They offered free shipping and the tires showed up a few days later.

(Well, ok - 3 of the 4 made it. One went missing. DTD replaced it with no fuss when I contacted them. I blame UPS for that.)

I am on the east coast and my dealer found some in the warehouse. I also did see some offered on Ebay. Make sure you check the manufacture date on any tires you get before you purchase them. 3 of the 5 that came to my dealer were already 2 years old. He sent them back and got newer ones.

I'd place an order with a Discount Tires store. There's one in Carson City and two each in Reno and Sparks.

I called the local discount tire and told them my size tire i needed and all that they offered was the Carlile brand E rated. At the time i didn't know that much about maxxis and I didn't ask about them. My bad.
