Can someone tell me what is under the little strip, 2ft of carpet the the slide goes over in the kitchen area. It is kind of annoying to have to clean that little strip. We would like to take it out.
Rockwood does the carpet strip in front of their slide to protect the floors from the slide moving in or out. You probably see impressions in the carpet at each end of the 2' strip. The slide may mark the linoleum if you remove the carpet strip.
