I never have used a pex clamp or tool, so after looking at em on Youtube, I see like everything else there are endless options.
To me. The "Iwiss" tool and clamp kit on Amazon look about right, $29.00
Anyone use this for their rv?
I guess it is a good thing to keep in the tool bag...
Thanks!

I've purchased several IWISS tools for electrical work as well as their PEX tool. Was amazed at the quality of the first tool i purchased from them given the country of origin. The PEX tool works great and they include a calibration tool so if you need to adjust it in the future no guessing is required.
Customer Service was a very pleasant experience too. I purchased one of their earlier cable crimping tool for large gauge wires. Jaws were sized for Metric gauge wires and he crimps were not as pretty as I wanted. I contacted them and they sent me a set of "AWG" jaws at no charge. Took a couple weeks but they were upfront about that too.
I'm not a plumber but based on the apparent material quality and operation I'd say the PEX crimping tool would hold up extremely well. For my needs it's perfect and at a good price too.
The idea of using the tool that one has to use handle extensions to get enough leverage has no appeal to me. My work was in a confined space and if I had to put handle extensions on the tool I'd have to remove some cabinetry and a part of the wall. The IWISS tool works a lot like a bolt cutter with extra leverage built in. Also has a ratchet mechanism that releases when you've reached the correct crimp. Also can be released if something goes wrong and you can't finish the crimp.
