What tires will fit on a Rockwood Signature 8281ss

We just purchased a 2007 Rockwood Signature 8281SS fifth wheel from the original owner. The trailer has the original Kenda 205-75-15 load range C radial tires and I am considering an upgrade to Maxxis 225-75-15 radials (load range D). Has anyone done this and are there any clearance issues with suspension travel? Tire width does not look like it will be a problem but I will lose 1" of clearance between the tire and the wheel well (225-75-15 tires are overall 2" taller and 1.5" wider than the original 205-75-15). Or can anyone recommend a good load range D tire in 205-75-15? Thanks.

I have an 8314ss travel trailer and i changed mine out from the 205-75-15 load range "C" to what you are considering doing (225-75-15 load range "D") and they are just fine no problems with clearance, but i installed Goodyear Marathon's and they are made in Canada.

Thanks for the reply. I ran Goodyear Marathons (made in USA) on our last trailer and had no issues. Every place I have checked only have the made in China Marathons and with all the bad stories on the internet, I am hesitent to buy them. Where did you find Canadian made Marathons?

I made a deal with someone at work, i changed out my Dometic 13,500 BTU a/c unit in the camper and installed a Carrier 15,000 BTU in it's place and traded the a/c unit for the tires.
