What tubing is used for freshwater tank feed?

I would like to splice and relocate the fresh water feed line from the fresh water tank on my 2017 2504s, so I have room to insulate it. Does anyone know what the tubing is? It’s not PEX, at least it doesn’t seem to be. I want to make sure I know what I am getting myself into, to be sure I can splice it after I cut it. See pictures below. Has anyone worked with it?

It is commonly referred to as
'1/2" Braided PVC Hose'
The clamps are called 'Pex Cinch Clamps'

I think they're technically oetiker clamps, or at least the style is the same...

I plan to reroute my winterization port to utilize some additional storage above my water heater. It's that same hose.

Glad you asked, thanks!

Technically I think you may be right, but every plumber calls them cinch clamps and then Oetiker calls them 'Ear Clamps'.
I believe they originated in the automotive industry and eventually found their way into residential plumbing.

I might be confused here, but the top hose is the braided hose and is usually the vent hose. The bottom hose is the actual gravity feed fill hose and is this:

But neither hose should need insulating.

Sorry for the confusion. I took the picture there because it was easier to take the picture, but what I am insulating is the feed line from the tank to the pump. It’s the same type of smaller hose. The tanks are heated, but there is a good 20’ run along the frame underneath the trailer. I figure if I insulate it, and turn on the tank heaters and the furnace inside, I should be good for small dips below freezing.
