We have a new Rockwood 8289WS coming & my wife was wondering where you store the vacuum in your 5th wheel and what type of vacuum do you use?

I installed a central vacuum. We've had one in our last several RVs, and they are so handy. Just store the hose and attachments.
Here is a link to some of the mods that I've done, and the central vacuum mod is in the thread.

Since I've done the Central Vac Mod, I put a partition behind the water heater, took the right hand hinge off the lower right door under the microwave, and put a catch on the right side. We store the hose and attachments there.

Installed a central vac under the steps. Store the hose, nozzles, etc in the drawer in the couch. With the 35' hose, can reach the entire trailer and outside to the basement & truck(pulled along side camper)

We use a cheap $20 stick vacuum (dust buster with a long handle essentially). It stands in the corner of the kitchen. I've actually recommended that as a change to the layout to Sabre (include and plan for a "broom closet"). We use it for quick cleans on trips and lug out our big vacuum at home between trips.
I'd like to install a central vac- it's just a little too spendy right now.

I use the rechargeable hand held Dyson. Easy storage and works like a charm!

I bought a LINX Stick Vacuum with the lithium ion battery. I store it in the man cave behind the coat rack.

We store the detectable hose and all accessories in the top most storage compartment that is above the Television. Everything fits nicely there and the hose folds up nicely.
This is in our Silverback 29rk FW.
