Who Knows?

Who knows what type of black water flush system is installed in a Rockwood Windjammer, or any Rockwood, for that matter? I'm trying to work out how effective the flush system is and how many times I should flush before everything is pristine.

What are your opinions on the black water flush systems installed by Forest River?

Bruce

Don't have the flush system, but have an after market multi directional wand we put down through the toilet after dumping. Get a clear elbow fitting before the drain hose so you can see how clear the waste liquid is. We use a fresh packet and 1-2 gal of water after dumping that digests any remaining bottom sediment till next use. If the tank isn't quite full when departing a camp site and before dumping, I will hold the flush pedal down to bring the tank to max. Not sure I'd even need to rinse, but it can't hurt.

The clear elbow is the way to go.....when using on-board flusher, leave the dump valve open.....use pressure regulator...any city water that enters my trailer, other than fresh, enters first thru pressure reg, then into hose(s)

Seldom use black flusher, just don't have a connection at Provincial Parks. Use 1 gallon and soap and fabric softener down the road.

Provincial Parks don't have water at sites? Or on site dump at your spot?
