wifi signal booster

I just got a shiny new new MiniLite. Played with the signal booster and connected fine to my house's wifi. Noted that an update was available (assume it's a firmware update) so I downloaded and followed the process. It seemed to hang at 80% for a very long time (20 minutes?) -- so I refreshed my screen -- and that's the last I ever saw of it.

I can turn it on and connect to the AP with my phone or tablet, but it refuses to give up the web-page -- where you configure it to connect to other sources.

Is this like most firmware updates in that if it botches the update, it bricks the system requiring a replacement?

Perhaps try to reset the device per the following.

If it where me I would reach out to WiFi Ranger and see what their tech support suggests, should not cost as the device is new.
