Windjammer 3008w wall cracks

I am considering purchasing a 2016 Rockwood Windjammer 3008w but I've seen several posts related to wall cracks especially on 2011 or 2012 models. Are wall cracks a problem with the later (2016) models or were these issues resolved on later model years? If you have had issues with wall cracks on 2016/2017/2018 models, please advise. Also, I have noticed that the dry weight for the 2015 model is 7,038 pounds whereas the dry weight for the 2016 model is 7,438 pounds. Can anyone explain the weight difference? Thanks in advance

I believe that Rockwood increased the wall height by 3 inches in the 2016. Probably the reason for the heavier weight. Measure from floor to ceiling, and I bet you'll find the 2016 is 3 inches taller inside.

Just would like to say that I own a 2012 Windjammer 3008 W and have no cracks. It has been on many trips and even spent two months full time in it. Bought in Feb. 2012 and it still has a like new look. Dry weight is listed at 7200 lbs.
