Windjammer ac vent cover removal

I am trying to remove the round ceiling ac vent registers on my 2016 Windjammer. They don't seem to want to pull off. Does anyone know how I can get them off so I can see if I need to seal the roof area?

It takes allot more force then one would think to get those off. When I removed mine I was very much afraid they were going to brake before coming loose just pull hard. Same when you snap them back in take a hard hit of the hand.
