Challenge accepted.....It is a timing relay, that opens the circuit to the fireplace when it senses the microwave start. When the microwave quits the relay times out, 30 seconds give or take and then ''beeps" when it resets power to the fireplace. Mine is mounted under the refrigerator behind the inverter, so listen in that area. Never claimed any breaker tripped!
I valiantly tried to attach an audio of the actual beep, but even though the page says .3gp files are valid and it is way under the size limit it would not upload. I would be more than happy to email the file to any unbelievers!
