Winterizing my 2706WS

I was wondering about using the winterizing port on the outside of my 2706WS. Do i just hook a hose to the port and put the hose inthe antifreeze and then turn on my pump? How does the pump know tje difference between that port and my fresh water tank? Brand new camper and never winterized this way. I watched a good video on youtube but just wanted some advice from someone with this same camper. Thanks

Should be a 3 way valve to change from the fresh water tank to the inlet port for anti-freeze right by your pump.

Don't forget to remove your filter and bypass and drain the water heater.

Good luck.

It might be a 3-way, or it might be 2 regular valves. Also, your Hot Water Bypass valving could be one of several different versions.

I've attached a generic RV plumbing pic. See page 1 for your antifreeze valve options and see page 2 for your water heater valve options.

Lourberto,
Your water pump is located underneath the bathroom sink. At the inlet line to the pump, you will see a valve to switch to the external antifreeze port.
