Wiring behind TV

I have an 09 8315BSS that I wanted to have Dish installed into. I spend 5 to 7 months a year in my camper while I work out of state. It was cheaper for me to have it installed as a home than do the RV plan. RV plan was buy the equipment then pay $30 more per month for the privilege of turning service off more than once a year.

Anyway, when the guy installed, he must have disconnected the antenna behind the TV. He screwed around with the wiring for 1 1/2 hours. Now the Dish system works, but I get nothing when trying to use the antenna. Can I get a wiring diagram for this?

Thanks,
Loretta

Is your Dish mounted on the roof?

No, I''ve got a tripod for it.

The guy said he had to make sure that he could get the signal to the TV. Thus the time playing with wires.

Thanks,
Loretta

How long ago did you do the install? Maybe get him back to fix it?

In my trailer you can pull the stereo (it's directly above the TV) and trace most of the wire's. If I remember correctly all the coax wires go to the amp booster plate (should be where your Dish receiver is plugged into) with one coax from there to the TV. You may want to look there first.

Thanks Coops1, we'll give that a try. I had it installed while I was working in a state other than the one I live in. I won't return there for at least another year at least. But I think taking the stereo out is what we'll do. I hate not getting the local news and weather when I'm away.

Thanks so much for your time and help.
