2016 (new)Surveyor, Water Tank shows full, but is empty.

What would make the water sensors show as full, when the tank is empty? This is a new surveyor, and should not be doing this. Can I even see/find where the sensors and wires are? It is still under warranty, but hate to take it in for something this small.

Which tanks are showing full? Have you used the tanks yet?

Post # 2....which tank ? Fresh or Waste ? Debris in waste tanks can cause false readings. Bad sensor in Fresh water is possible. If you have an enclosed underbelly....good luck. Mines open, but I'm leary of corrosion on all the exposed stuff, so I'm keeping an eye on them.

Sorry I should have said the fresh water tank. Yes I have used them, and the underbelly is covered. I have since learned that the sensors are notoriously wrong, and thats just the way it is.

something inside or outside your fresh water tank is shorting the top sensor setting off the indicator light.

I would not consider this a small problem on a new unit,,,
and would except the Dealer to make it right !!!

Unless you bought your unit several hundred miles away from where you live ???
