I've got a 2016 285IKDS and it was screwed down with 2 screws from the cabinet below (in my case a fireplace). I had to remove the fireplace first to get access to the two phillips head screws. They just went through the wood into the mounting feet of the sound bar.
I found they didn't wire the TV sound, so I added that using the headphone jack on TV to feed the sound bar. Can't remember for sure, but it seems there was a spare input on back. I also switched the subwoofer switch from "EXT" to "INT" as I think that makes the sound bar have a little more bass (like a frequency cutoff switch, e.g. low pass) since I don't have an external subwoofer.
