I was wondering since new to this.. hope this is not a repeat question. Can anyone tell me on this new model if I must use another water hose, other than the fresh water hose to back flush the black water tank since it has a specific hose connection above the black water tank?
Regular garden hose will work for the black tank flush. You obviously don't need to pay for one that's safe for drinking water. I keep mine in a tub with the dump hoses and latex gloves. Separate tub for drinking hose and water connectors.

I just use one of those X-Hose collapsable hoses. Packs up small and I don't have to worry that it's not drinking water safe.

But, to answer your original question, no, you don't HAVE to use a different hose. The actual chance of contamination is minimal. It's just highly recommended to eliminate even that minuscule chance.
