We got to the Florida Frog Rally, got set up and discovered that the A/C wasn't cooling. Fan works but the air coming out is ambient air temp. One morning I kept raising the thermostat up until the fan cut off at 81. Dropped the set point to 79. The unit came on and never shut off. Midday it was cooler outside than in.

It worked fine the last time we went out (June). We run it set at 85 on shore power at home to keep humidity down. Last time I was was outside for sufficient time I noticed it cycling approximately normal.

Reckon I'll be calling Dometic come Monday. It should be under warranty. The TT is only 6 months old.

More then likely it has lost its charge there is no cost effective what to recharge or chase leaks in these units and are normally changed out. Go it is under warranty.

You will have to take it to a Dometic Authorized Repair facility.


My dealer suggested that I replace my failing Dometic (out of warranty by a few months) with a Coleman. Dometics are problematic.
