Awning

We have a 2004 TT and the awning on the top has seperated. We were told there is no repair that will work because it is not a hole and that when the ply's of the awning began to seperate it will only get worse. Has anyone tried the repair tape?

Awning repair items

Awning rope tape, for repairing awning at rail.

Also, you could remove to awning fabric, cut off the bad awning material and replace the piping.

to end of awning fabric.

The same thing has happened to our hybrid awning. I am thinking about just replacing the whole awning. I think ours was due to being out in the weather 24/7 and having the sun beating down on it all the time. Our decals have also peeled off. We are looking to upgrade to a TT and I will be keeping the next trailer covered!

Check the date of the original post! It's from May and is a dead issue. Please please please start new threads rather than open up dead posts.
