I will be staying in Mountain View, AR for three days and the projected temp is high 50’s in the day and 33 at night.

Your pipes aren't going to freeze at 32 degree temps as long as it warms up during the day. If you're worried, disconnect from the campground water and open the cabinet doors under the sinks.

We camped out last December in Arkansas with temperatures as low as 16. Warmed up in the day to 50s. No problem. But it was a different trailer than our new Surveyor.

Both trailers had underbelly heat and such. The biggest difference is that the gray and black water tank valves are exposed in our Surveyor. The old trailer had the valves up in the underbelly with remote cables.

Frozen and or broken Black water valve or pipe would be no fun.

I am researching a permanent fix for this. One recommendation is to dump some antifreezes in the tanks prior to using them and then adding more after dumping.

At 33 degrees you should not have any issues.

For freezing overnight temps, the above ideas are great. The sealed underbelly does help. Here are 3 recommendations that come to mind for freezing temps:

1. If you have the "Arctic Package" or something similar, turn on the tank heaters and leave them on. They are like a heating pad and I don't think they can get too hot or burn out like the electric element in the water heater.

2. Use your fresh water tank and pump and only connect to the site's spigot to fill the fresh water tank. A frozen fresh water hose in the AM is the most likely thing to freeze overnight.

3. If possible, use something like an electric water pipe heater wrapped near your tank valves. Again, this won't burn out or cook your drain pipes but will leave the liquid in liquid state as opposed to a solid.
