Caution,,Careful Where You Put Your Hands.
Recently while just checking out our new TT Surveyor 247 BHDS I put my hand on the top corner of the kitchen slide and low and behold found some very sharp metal..
Looks like the detail work in the trailer went by the wayside when they got to the slide.
I took the loose ends and bent them down and then put a heavy strip of Gorilla tape over it just as a safety precaution for the next curious person.
Picture attached.

Incredible...
Although I have also seen some other amazing work out of the RV factories that was just as mind boggling.

Out of sight, out of mind... Hopefully you didn't get cut too bad. That could have been a bad deal.

Is there room to put plastic angle trim (like you would put on the outside corner of a plaster wall) in this area. These two are self-adhesive and inexpensive:
96-inch
48-inch

I wonder what else lurks behind hidden areas. That kind of work reflects on management and the attitude of the person doing the cutting.
Not very encouraging, I will check my slide too.

Oh there's plenty... holes drilled 5 times bigger than necessary... holes made with a hammer... cut-outs left behind... dirt/sawdust... etc.
And you don't even want to look in the area under the enclosed underbelly[emoji37]

Yeah, there is some strange thing that go on when they build some of these RVs. Our last RV was a Wildwood bunkhouse with an open loft to the kitchen. It had a furnace under the sofa beside the water pump. The installer used a sledge hammer to make the holes for the duct runs and the water hose from the fresh water tank. Never seen anything like it.
